The Financial Services Commission has decided to give indebted individuals six more months before starting paying the principal of their household loans. The rescheduling is to help individuals who can't repay their debts on time amid the prolonged pandemic, as they have lost jobs or suffered from income reductions since February. As a result, the period for the debtors to apply for a special pre-workout program will be extended to June next year.
