K-pop boy band BTS is taking the world by storm at increasing speed. BTS has been formally invited to the 2017 American Music Awards taking place in Los Angeles this Sunday as the first ever K-pop group to receive that honor. The band is also scheduled to appear on several famous US talk shows. During their US visit for the music awards, BTS will appear in the top talk shows of 3 major US networks one after another. According to their management agency, for their first official schedule in the US, BTS will take part in the recording of CBS's "The Late Late Show With James Corden." The seven-member band will then make appearances also on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on NBC. Their invitation to the American Music Awards was seen to reflect their popularity especially among American youths. Their appearance on popular TV talk shows is considered a testament to their wider appeal to the US public.
