In our first story, we bring you our coverage of the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Tianjin, China, where world leaders discussed various global economic issues. The most prominent issue of the forum however was the fallout and reaction to the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the EU.

The theme of the latest World Economic Forum was "the fourth industrial revolution", but the attention of the participants was only on Brexit. The Forum organizers hurriedly arranged a special meeting on Brexit and the participants discussed the fallouts from Britain's break from the European Union.

People's attention was on the announcement of China's economic policies, as China is known to have close economic ties with the United Kingdom. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang showed confidence on the Chinese economy even after Britain's exit and called for joint responses.

[Soundbite] Li Keqiang(Chinese Prime Minister) : "We must face the challenge together in order to power the recovery of the global economy and promote growth in this crisis."

Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn met with World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab in special bilateral talks to discuss the Korean economy's options in the post-Brexit days.

[Soundbite] Hwang Kyo-ahn(Korean Prime Minister) : "We need to make efforts to find short-term stimulus measures and new growth engines and to boost productivity."

Prime Minister Hwang then went to Beijing to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday and Wednesday and discuss North Korean nuclear issues.
