French people's interest in K-fashion is rising as Korean-born designers are starting to find success in the competitive fashion scene of Paris, France. We take you there now.

Paris Fashion Week is among the four most acclaimed fashion shows in the world. Korean fashion designer Woo Young-mi has been invited to host a show for the 14th year. World-famous buyers and spectators cannot take their eyes of her collection for the next spring and summer.

[Soundbite] Woo Young-mi(Fashion Designer) : "I think if I and other designers try hard we can create luxury brands sought by people around the globe."

Ten young designers selected from the Seoul Fashion Week are in Paris to make a more direct appeal to the global market. These new talents are showcasing their designs at L'eclaireur, one of the hottest clothing stores in the Marais District in Paris, for a month.

[Soundbite] Lee Suk-tae(Fashion Designer) : "This is a chance to show my collection together with world-famous brands. I think it will contribute toward the Korean fashion industry."

Their provocative and creative designs were selected personally by the L'eclaireur store.

[Soundbite] Patric(Manager, L'eclaireur Store) : "Young Korean people are just as strongly capable of advancing fashion as people in France or Italy."

K-fashion with distinct Korean components is winning favorable reactions from Paris, the city of fashion, with an allure of its own.
