The winner of a major e-sports competition for the game League of Legends, which opened in Shanghai back in May, was the Korean team SKT T1. The team set a precedent by achieving the Grand Slam of e-sports. Its best-performing member is Lee Sang-hyeok, who is known by his nickname "Faker."

Lee Sang-hyeok debuted in e-sports in 2013 at the age of 18. Back then he suspended his studies to focus solely on e-sports, which was possible thanks to the support of his parents.

During the first year after his debut, Lee led his team to a victory at a world championship, drawing the attention of global media including CNN. His fans always accompany him at competitions.

After realizing his dream as an e-sports player, Lee Sang-hyeok is now poised to achieve higher goals.
