Up next we have the latest news from the world of Korean culture. This year events marking Korean Culture Day are being held around the world. Meanwhile, young people with disabilities from developing Asian nations have gathered here in Korea for a cultural experience.

Today we have prepared the latest news from the world of Korean culture. This year events marking Korean Culture Day are being held worldwide. Also, young people with disabilities from Asian developing nations have visited Korea to experience its culture. This is a public square in Montevideo, Uruguay. As soon as a Korean dancer makes an inviting gesture, the crowd rushes to join in. They put up an impressive performance to a new song from the K-pop group Twice. This flashmob in Uruguay was organized to mark Korean Culture Day, which was launched this year. Some 600 people have gathered to take part in various events dedicated to Korean culture. They were even covered by local media.

[Soundbite] Uruguayan Media : "Students studying the Korean language and K-pop staged a surprise K-pop flashmob at Plaza de la Bandera."

On the same day, a folk song and dance concert was held in Colombia. In Mexico, Indonesia and China events dedicated to Korean cuisine were organized. Korean Culture Day events are held on the final Wednesday of the month at King Sejong Institute. Last month it was held in 37 locations in 23 countries.

[Soundbite] Song Hyang-keun(King Sejong Institute) : "We believe that we can publicize Korea on a higher level not only by teaching the language but also by promoting people's understating of Korean culture."

Starting next year, Korean Culture Day events will be expanded further to broaden the global horizons of Korean culture. More than a thousand K-pop fans from all over the world flock to KBS TV every week to watch the live music show Music Bank. This time a group of special guests is at the the show. They include young people with disabilities from more than ten Asia-Pacific developing nations.

[Soundbite] Visitor from Malaysia : "I told my friends that I watched a K-pop concert in Korea. They are very jealous now."

The guests received a rare chance to take photos with the cast of Korean TV shows while visiting a filming set.

[Soundbite] Visitor from Thailand : "It has been my dream. The TV show "Descendants of the Sun" is very popular in Thailand. I am a fan of Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo."

These young people with disabilities can take inspiration from the opportunity to experience Korean culture firsthand.
