For decades, an industrious aerial photographer has recorded the natural landscapes of Korea while riding on a paraglider. In our next report we bring you some scenic views of Korea from the skies.

An enormous flock of birds takes off from the calm surface of a reservoir. Hundreds of thousands of ducks create a rare spectacle, resembling an enormous net rippling in the water. A mystical band of clouds and mist rolls onto a beach in Busan. Saraoreum Mountain in Jeju is an island of white surrounded by an expanse of lush green. And the ocean is a refreshing, icy blue. These are all photos taken from high up in the sky by aerial photographer Woo Tae-ha while riding on a motor-powered paraglider.

[Soundbite] Woo Tae-ha(Aerial Photographer) : "I wanted to shoot more beautiful scenes than other photographers from places higher up."

Woo has been flying over Dokdo and other parts of the country for the past 20 years in search of one-of-a-kind scenery. He was once involved in a major accident when his paraglider was caught in a power line, but even that could not dim his passion.

[Soundbite] Woo Tae-ha(Aerial Photographer) : "I can see in all directions from a bird's eye view, so I photograph any and all beautiful places."

Having built his career from the sky, Woo's plans for the near future involve photography from the stratosphere.
