Foreign tourists are suffering from the sweltering heatwave gripping the nation right alongside those of us who live here. Here’s a look at a few of the ways travelers try to duck the Korean summer heat.

They're from Singapore, which is also known for its hot weather. But it's still not easy traveling during the sweltering heat wave in Seoul.

Parasols and sunglasses are not enough to block the scorching sunlight. Beads of sweat ceaselessly run down.

Some tourists have opted for a water break instead of visiting tourist sites. Visitors from Southeast Asia who are no stranger to the heat are also no different as they soak their feet in cold water and get some rest from the high mercury levels.

Some foreigners have taken the traditional Korean way of fighting heat with heat.

Tourists are developing smart ways to travel in the sultry heat by spending more time indoors during the day at spots like aquariums or K-pop exhibition halls.
