Meanwhile, Korean fencer Park Sang-young came from behind to defeat Geza Imre of Hungary in the men's individual epee event to add a surprise gold medal to the country's medal count. But other medal hopefuls in judo and shooting failed to make it to the podium yesterday, which puts Korea in seventh place in the overall standings with three gold medals, two silver and one bronze. In the meantime, Germany has won a gold medal in an equestrian event bringing it to 12th place with one gold and two silvers, followed by Sweden and the host, Brazil.
