The South Korean delegation to the Rio de Janeiro Paralympics has checked into the athletes’ village in the Brazilian city. And they are gearing up for achieving good results at the games. Let’s take a look.

As Brazilian dancers begin an exciting dance performance, the South Korean delegation for the Paralympics enters behind the national flag. Following an entry declaration by the head of the athletes' village, the South Korean national flag is hoisted with the national anthem resounding in the sky above Rio.

[Soundbite] Chung Jae-jun(Head of Korean delegation to Rio Paralympics) : "From now on, we are determined to focus on strategies and to employ our top skills to achieve good results."

62 athletes in sports such as table tennis and judo were filled with high hopes as they participated in the village entry ceremony, saying that the Olympic Games finally felt real.

[Soundbite] Lee Jeong-min(Korean Nat’l Paralympic Judo Team) : "After the entry ceremony, it feels real. I am excited and proud as a Korean national team athlete."

Fully prepared for the Paralympic Games halfway around the globe, the Korean delegation will begin its journey to finish among the top 12 in the final medal count in Rio.
