Next we meet a good samaratin who helped clear the way for an emergency vehicle on a heavily congested road by going car to car to ask them to move aside. And it turns out that she’s the wife of a firefighter.

A road is heavily congested during rush hour. An ambulance with the siren on desperately tries to move among the cars but hits a snag. Inside the ambulance is a woman who is seven months pregnant. She needed emergency treatment due to breathing problems. Just then a motorbike shows up. Its driver starts to say something to the drivers of other cars blocking the way, knocking on their windows to ask them to give way. One by one, the cars began to move to the side and all of the other cars followed suit. The bike driver continued to escort the ambulance on the congested motorway. When the ambulance almost reached the hospital, the motorbike disappeared. The bike driver who helped save a life turned out to be 31-year-old Choi Ui-jung, the wife of a firefighter.

[Soundbite] Choi Ui-jung(Ulsan Resident) : "My husband is a firefighter. I knew that if a siren is on, it means it's an emergency. The road was congested at the time, so I asked the drivers to give way."

It took the ambulance just five minutes to cross a 600-meter bridge that was packed with cars during rush hour.

[Soundbite] Chu Hyun-min(Firefighter, Ulsan Jungbu Fire Department) : "Not everyone would dare to do this. She had the courage and thanks to her we were able to arrive at the hospital sooner.'

The pregnant woman who was in the ambulance at the time and needed emergency help was able to recover thanks to the heroic act of a firefighter's wife.
