Wild Flowers in Bloom

Some 800 varieties of wild plants are in bloom at Mount Songni National Park. Today, we take you to the site where beautiful wild flowers bloom throughout the four seasons.

Mount Songni National Park is covered in white snow. Yellow adonis flowers in a sunlit site near the top, serve as a harbinger of spring. With warm spring winds blowing, wild flowers in various colors, including white single-spike chloranthus, begin to bloom. In mid-spring in April, different wild flowers, such as violets and cinquefoil flowers, show off their beauty. With the summer approaching, songni stonecrops, which were named after the mountain, begin to bloom. Then the mountain becomes a giant garden of wild flowers. The season of wild flowers reaches the peak at Mount Songni in mid-summer with a wide variety of lilies in full bloom.

There are 14 habitats of rare species such as supplejack trees. With some 830 kinds of plants growing, Mount Songni itself is a huge natural pristine garden.
