The election of Donald Trump as U.S. president has aroused a great deal of interest in who he is. More and more people around the world including Koreans want to know more about him.

This large bookstore is preparing a section dedicated to books about Donald Trump. Currently, there are only about ten such books at Korean bookstores. They're either written personally by Donald Trump or written about him by someone else. Before the U.S. election, only five books about Trump were sold daily on average. But now daily sales reach 400 books.

Books in which Donald Trump offers his insight on various issues are especially popular. So far, Trump had been portrayed in Korea mostly in a comical way. Such books can help the public better understand his policies as president.

Books about Trump's father, his most-influential figure, as well as about his childhood and way of thinking are also popular among readers. Sales of Trump's autobiography, in which he personally reveals the secret of his success as a businessman, have soared recently. As readers rushed to buy books about Donald Trump following his surprise election victory, bookstores have been struggling to replenish their inventories, while publishing companies are now busy re-printing books about him.
