Ahn Jung-geun is regarded as a national hero for his assassination of Ito Hirobumi, a central figure in Japan's annexation of Korea. His heroic life has been re-enacted as a musical. From his blood oath with the cutting of his finger...to his death in a cold prison cell...the musical vividly depicts Ahn Jung-geun's agonies as a human being.

The musical "Deokhye, the Last Princess," depicts the tragic life of the Korean Empire's last princess, and is enjoying widespread support from family audiences. The popularity of "The Last Empress," the nationally renowned musical about Queen Myeongseong of the Joseon Dynasty, has not waned for 22 years.
