Korean people love to dance and sing. Here’s a look at some Korean stars who have showcased a passion for dancing on the small screen and the big screen.

A new Internet buzzword in Korea, 'dancing god, dancing king,' refers to people who demonstrates funny dance moves. There are those people among celebrities as well whose brimming talent is well displayed in their dancing.

[Soundbite] "After drinking this, we are a couple."

This heartthrob movie star does it all, whether it's an action film or romance. It is Jeong Woo-seong. In his latest film "The King," Jeong unleashed some serious dancing skills, big time.

[Soundbite] "She is so smart, she is so charming."

He begins with a warm up and here it goes, a synchronized trio dance with fellow actors Jo In-seong and Bae Seong-woo begins, which is right on par with boy band dancers. How long did he practice for this?

[Soundbite] Jeong Woo-seong(Actor) : "Never in my life did I think I would ever practice dancing. I practiced once or twice a week for only about a month. In total I think I practiced like 6 times."

Turning to the small screen, in the KBS drama "Chief Kim," Nam Goong-min and Joon Ho also showcased their dancing acumen. Why they chose the TT dance by the girl group Twice in particular left many scratching their heads. The dance is very cute but rather on the easy side.

[Soundbite] Joon Ho(Member of 2PM/Actor) : "I wanted to do a new song but I thought TT would be easier for my senior, Goong-min. A new song was a bit difficult."

There was a reason for Joon Ho's concern. When Nam Goong-min was hosting a singing competition TV show not very long ago, viewers were more drawn to this than the celeb contestants' singing battle.

[Soundbite] "What is that dance? (Oh this? Just think of it as hitting here very hard.) (Hit hard as if you're pushing your pelvis toward the front where the camera is.) How?"

Nam was never hesitant to show his keen interest in dancing.

[Soundbite] "One, two, three."

Unfortunately his body didn't live up to his passion. One of the hottest stars in Korea these days, Park Bo-gum also did a dance on set while filming the hit drama series "Love in the Moonlight." And it's not only men. Actresses can do the same. Actress Lee Yoo-ri who is starring in the KBS drama "My Father is Strange" also displayed her hidden ability during the drama's preview presentation. In the series' first episode, she went all out and danced just as well as any idol girl group member. In fact, she has been cultivating her dancing skills for a long time.

[Soundbite] Jeong Jae-hyeong(Singer) : "Lee, why don't you show us that amazing dance of yours today?"

With no hesitation, her body immediately moves to the beat of music. She covers a full range from sexy club dancing to the more adorable moves.

[Soundbite] "Let's enjoy, let's have a good time!"

The dancing kings and queens in the celeb world are not shy to perform for their roles. We look forward to see more of their unrestrained and creative dance moves in the future.
