International fans remain enthusiastic about Korean pop culture, especially, K-pop. A K-pop contest was held in London to boost cultural exchanges, attracting a lot of attention from local K-pop enthusiasts.

The atmosphere heats up, as they stage performances on par with famous Korean singers. This is one of preliminaries held in 70 countries around the world ahead of the finals in Korea. Preliminary winners will visit Korea and have chances to meet K-pop stars face to face.

In addition to the K-pop contest, opportunities were offered to have hands-on experiences of Korean culture, such as trying Korean cuisine and outfits.

The event launched in Korea in February in accordance with an agreement between the South Korean and British governments. It will tour around Britain for a year.
