In this tight job market, there are industrious people who are inventing their own unique occupations seen nowhere else in the world. Take a look at these novel jobs make best use of one's hobby or talent.

This man's exquisite technique draws continuous applause. It's as if the man is united with the soccer ball. The man is Woo Hee-yong, Korea's very first football free-styler. With his acrobatic ball handling, he has held street shows and even filmed an ad with a world renowned soccer star.

[Soundbite] Woo Hee-yong(Football Free-styler) : "My parents, in tears, tried to talk me out of it. But now that I'm welcomed and respected by many people, my family's perception has completely changed."

Kim Jeong-hyeon carefully tends to a disabled dog, left unable to walk after suffering a fall. Within a half hour, Kim crafts an exclusive dog wheelchair. Watching the dog take baby steps, he feels rewarded for trailblazing the occupation of what he calls an animal rehabilitation engineer.

[Soundbite] Kim Jeong-hyeon(Animal Rehabilitation Engineer) : "I feel most rewarded witnessing pets gain new lives. I'm proud to have created this occupation."

So-called "fooducators" have converted their passion for food into lectures on healthy eating. Such newly birthed and newly coined jobs now number over 30, according to government estimates.

[Soundbite] Kim Jung-jin(Korea Employment Information Service) : "We live in a a time when people can pursue any economic activity through self-invented jobs. There's hardly any limitation on time or physical space."

New occupations based on personal hobbies and talents are emerging as a solution to the nation's employment issue.
