Prosecutors have launched an investigation into a National Intelligence Service document that was drafted under the Lee Myung-bak administration to monitor and cause political harm to Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon.

In November 2011, the Korea Parent Federation held a rally. The purpose of the rally was to criticize Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon's policy to cut tuition fees at the University of Seoul. The protesters shouted blunt and harsh slogans.

The Korea Parent Federation held 19 rallies in total to criticize the Seoul mayor. The National Intelligence Service reform committee has found recently that the rallies were held at the intelligence agency's order. The agency even paid eight million won for holding one-person rallies 20 times. The Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office has launched a probe into an NIS document that was drawn to secretly harm Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon. The prosecutors raided the house of former federation secretary general Choo Sun-hee to find evidence. Choo is being investigated as a key
figure in organizing the rallies at the intelligence agency's order. He is also the key figure of the so-called "whitelist" of the former Park Geun-hye administration. The investigation into this list of conservative organizations that received support from Park Geun-hye began last month.

[Soundbite] Choo Sun-hee(Sec. Gen., Korea Parent Federation (Jun. 2015)) : "I think it would be right to cancel the gay festival immediately."

Choo was summoned for investigation on Wednesday, but refused to show up.
