U.S. President Donald Trump's schedule in South Korea has officially been announced. Trump will hold a summit with President Moon Jae-in on November seventh. He will also become the seventh U.S. president to deliver a speech at South Korea's parliament.

The presidential office Cheong Wa Dae and the White House jointly announced that President Moon Jae-in and United States President Donald Trump will hold a summit in Seoul on November 7. The presidential office said that the U.S. President Trump and his wife will make a state visit to South Korea early next month at the invitation of President Moon and the first lady. Trump is the first foreign head of state to visit South Korea since Moon took office in May this year. It also marks the first time in 25 years that a U.S. president will visit South Korea as a state guest. On November 7, Moon will hold an official welcoming ceremony and summit with Trump. The two leaders will then hold a joint press conference. He will also host a state dinner for the Trumps. The two presidents will discuss a wide range of issues, including a stronger alliance, boosting bilateral cooperation in resolving the North Korean nuclear problem and establishing peace and stability in Northeast Asia, and efforts to promote collaboration on the international stage. The U.S. president is also scheduled to deliver a speech at the National Assembly during his stay in South Korea. The presidential office Cheong Wa dae expressed hope that Trump's visit will serve as an opportunity to reaffirm the personal trust and friendship between the two presidents and further solidify the South Korea-U.S. alliance Meanwhile, the presidential office said that it is consulting with the White House regarding Trump's exact departure and arrival schedule. The White House said in a statement that the U.S. president will also stop in Japan and China for summits with his Japanese and Chinese counterparts Shinzo Abe and Xi Jinping.
