K-pop sensation BTS staged a performance at the American Music Awards held in Los Angeles. The Korean boy band was the only Asian group invited to the event this year. Korean rapper Psy was awarded at the 2012 AMA and performed there as well. But this is the first time for a K-pop group to perform at the awards.

BTS did their best to make themselves known in the U.S. including appearances on popular talk shows of the 3 major U.S. networks. Meanwhile at this year's AMA, Bruno Mars took home the most trophies, 7 in total, including Artist of the Year.
