The family of owner executives at Korean Air, who drew international scorn and ridicule over the so-called “nut-rage” incident a few years ago, have sparked controversy once again with their entitled and abusive antics. This time, Korean Air senior vice-president Cho Hyun-min, the youngest daughter of Hanjin Group Chairman Cho Yang-ho, has been accused of throwing water in the face an ad agency employee.

A bulletin board for the employees of an ad agency. There is a posting about how its employee was abused by an executive of their client, Korean Air. The airliners senior vice-president threw down a bottle and even splashed water in an ad agency manager's face, just because he couldn't adequately answer her question. Someone even testified that the president of the agency called her to apologize. The woman behind this outburst is Cho Hyun-min, the youngest daughter of Hanjin Group Chair Cho Yang-ho. She is also the younger sister of Cho Hyun-ah, who gained notoriety for the nut rage incident. She received suspended sentence for causing a plane to return to the gate over a packet of nuts. Korean Air acknowledged that Cho had indeed thrown a cup of water on the floor, but not on the employee's face. Her company also explained that the phone call by the ad agency president demanding apology is not true. Rather, it was Cho who sent out text messages to the agency employees to apologize for her behavior. Cho Hyun-min was promoted to senior vice-president of Korean Air in 2013, when she was only 30 years old, becoming the youngest executive of a Korean conglomerate.
