North Korea's Korean Central News Agency said today that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is visiting China from the 7th to the 10th. It has been confirmed that Kim Jong-un arrived in Beijing this morning by train at around 10:55am. The Korean Central News Agency also said that leader Kim Jong-un and his wife Ri Sol-ju, are making a four-day visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Kim Jong-un was accompanied by senior officials of the government and the ruling Workers' Party, including the vice chairman of the Central Committee of ruling Workers' Party Kim Yong-chol, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho and Defense minister No Kwang-chol. Meanwhile, South Korea anticipated Tuesday that Kim Jong-un's fourth trip to china will help foster the denuclearization process on the Korean peninsula. Asked whether Pyongyang informed Seoul about Kim's trip in advance, the official said he had no related information, adding the two Koreas continue to closely consult on inter-Korean issues through their hotlines.
