Upbeat melody and rhythmic dancing. This is BTS's latest English language single "Dynamite." The song has made another major stride in the US market. "Dynamite" is No. 1 on this week's Hot 100 chart for a second consecutive week. The Billboard chart for the weekly top 100 popular songs in the US is based on online streams, sales and radio play. BTS debuted at No. 1 on the chart as the first ever South Korean artist to do so in the first week of the song's release late last month. In the entire history of Billboard, only 43 songs to date including "Dynamite" have debuted at No. 1 on the chart. Others include singles by Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey. Only 20 of those songs have topped the chart for 2 straight weeks. "Dynamite"'s latest feat is a testament to BTS's continued popularity and public appeal in the U.S. pop market. On the same day, K-pop girl group Blackpink's newest track "Ice Cream" reached No. 13 on the Billboard singles chart. It's the highest ranking ever for the group on the Hot 100. The two K-pop megastars are going strong in America, further promoting K-pop across the globe.
