[Pkg]
A former insurance detective scrambles to preserve his memory by tattooing his body. Amnesia is a common subject in movies and novels. But the exact cause of the disease remains unknown. Tests on lab mice helped the team find out how synapses in the brain keep weakening and strengthening when recalling the past. The researchers have found that the substance proteasome decomposes memory-related proteins near the synapse. Tests showed that memory is perfectly revived when decomposed proteins are resynthesized.
