These days, summer vacations no longer mean fun in the sun for college students who are instead busy spiffing up their resumes, stacking certifications and building up their qualifications to get a job. Let's take a look at their hectic days.

With a loud exhaust note, a car dashes through a college campus. From design to assembly, the vehicle was produced by members of the school's automobile club. Final checks are under way ahead of a national college automobile production contest, just 15 days away. Winning a prize provides a leg up in finding employment.
[Soundbite] Cho Hyun(Junior, School of MSE) : "We are spending the vacation building a car, because we enjoy it and we think we can learn more from it."
Students will soon face open recruitment season for large corporations. They solve sample questions from previous tests, and practice debates and mock job interviews.
[Soundbite] Chung Joon-ho(Senior, Dept. of Int'l Business and Trade) : "I also want to go on vacation when my friends are planning their holidays, but I have to study and prepare for employment, which is more pressing."
Even during vacation season, students remain enthusiastic as they attend classes for the summer term.
[Soundbite] Wie Se-eun(Freshman, Dept. of Animal Biotechnology) : "It's vacation season so I want to take a break, but I am studying hard to make up for what I need."
Even the heat of the summer pales in comparison to the passion of college students who are preparing for employment and the future.
