Food trucks are growing very popular. They sell a wide variety of dishes for affordable prices, and some even have their own fan base.

People stand in long lines in front of each of these originally decorated food trucks in a university area where a festival is under way. These small trucks serve beef dishes and sushi made to order, right on the spot.

[Soundbite] Kim Ho-sang(Japanese Cuisine Cook) : "I quit my job at a restaurant and started a food truck business because it became very popular last year. I wanted to try selling sushi."

Anyone can start a food truck business, as long as the truck is equipped with cooking devices. Even high-end dishes such as steaks cost just five dollars at food trucks, because their owners do not have to pay rent or hire employees, and can instead invest more money in the ingredients.

[Soundbite] Lee Joo-young(Customer) : "It's very tender and juicy because it was cooked right on the spot. I like it."

Although there are only two people working in each truck, they take care of everything, from taking orders to cooking and serving. Some food trucks have become so popular that they even have their own fans who follow them after checking their locations on social media.

[Soundbite] Lim Ji-yeon(Customer) : "I like it because I can pick whatever I want to eat and enjoy it with my friends anywhere I want."

Food trucks selling affordable yet delicious food have emerged as a new attraction in urban areas.
