With the new fall season coming into full swing, KBS debuts a new lineup of variety shows, while some existing shows draw to a close. Here’s a look.

The variety show "Cool Kiz on the Block," which is dedicated to promoting public health, will come to a close on Tuesday night. Since its premiere in April of 2013, the show has gained popularity for teaching the public about different ways to exercise in daily life. A person from the show's production team said that the show will end amid high viewer ratings, but a new season might be produced. "Cool Kiz on the Block" will be replaced by a new show called "Trick and True - Hidden Spoon." It's a scientific variety show where the audience must guess whether a certain performance is science or magic. The pilot episode of "Trick and True" received rave reviews when it aired on the Chuseok holiday. Another new show, "Singing Battle," which also drew significant attention during the Chuseok holiday, will also go on air as a regular show. It features celebrities who are not professional singers working as a team with music directors.

As in the pilot episode, the show will be hosted by actor Nam Kung-min, who is expected to show off his skills as a show host.
