Autumn flowers have fully bloomed as we enter the fall. Follow us to an arboretum where fall blossoms stand apart from their fancier counterparts in spring.

This arboretum is drenched in an array of beautiful autumn colors. Red flowers that have blossomed like crowns show off their elegant en masse. Cluster-amaryllis is a major autumn flower and signals the deepening season before the leaves begin to change color.

Anemones whose Korean name means "chrysanthemums that light up fall" have also fully bloomed in their violet hues. Along the trails are colchicum autumnale, commonly known as autumn crocus, which closely resemble lotuses. Pampas grass also creates a stunning silvery vista. Some 20 different autumn flowers are resplendent at the Cheollipo Arboretum, home to the largest number of plant species in the country.

[Soundbite] Choi Su-jin(Public relations, Cheollipo Arboretum) : "Cluster-amaryllis and anemones are in full bloom. Pink hair grass, silver grass, reeds and starworts will continue to blossom for another month."

The colors of the autumn flowers deepen the romantic autumnal atmosphere at the Cheollipo arboretum, nicknamed the "green gem of the Yellow Sea."
