With the arrival of the Lunar New Year, a series of auditions are being held to find new actors and actresses for musicals. We will bring you to the scene in our next story.

Young people dance to the music. They passionately present all the skills they have honed over time. This is an audition to select the lead actors of a new musical scheduled to premiere in November. Everything from dancing to singing skills must be presented in a brief window of time. The competition rate stands at a whopping 100 to one. The contestants do their best to boast their hidden talents and achieve their dreams of becoming actors.

[Soundbite] Park Jin-sang(Audition Participant) : "I always feel regret, but I also feel relieved after an audition. The outcome directly depends on how much I have prepared."

[Soundbite] Goh Saet-byeol(Audition Participant) : "I continue to sing and dance on the stage because it makes me feel happy and elated."

The musical "Billy Elliot" depicts the miraculous life of a boy who realizes his dream of becoming a ballet dancer. This is the final audition to select the male lead. The finalists are seven children who were selected through two previous auditions. They have arrived at this stage after training six hours a day for the past 8 months to master ballet, tap dance, singing and street dance.
