President Moon Jae-in is in Washington, where he met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. After dinner together, the two heads of state embark on summit talks covering a range of bilateral issues.

The leaders of South Korea and the United States met at the White House. President Trump welcomed President Moon at the entrance of the White House. And the two heads of state shook hands and posed for commemorative photos. At dinner, sitting side by side with the American president, President Moon said that he also had a hard time because of fake news.

President Trump promised to hold long, frank discussions of various issues with President Moon.

Also attended by the first ladies of the two nations and top government officials, the White House dinner featured a five-course meal and wine consisting of roasted fish and bibimbap. Earlier, President Moon met with U.S. Senate and House leaders to discuss the North Korea nuclear issue and the Korea-U.S. free trade agreement. President Moon will hold a trilateral summit dinner with the U.S. and Japanese leaders at the G20 Summit slated for July 6th in Germany.
