Prior to the deployment of American B-1B bombers near North Korea, a 100,000-strong anti-American demonstrations was held in Pyongyang. North Korea also published a doctored video in which a B-1B bomber is depicted being shot down. Ever since Kim Jong-un issued a rare personal rebuke of U.S. President Trump, North Korea appears to be focusing on propaganda campaigns aimed at the outside world.

About 100,000 North Koreans gathered at Kim Il-sung Square, which is located central of Pyongyang. First, a member of the Workers' Party read Kim Jong-un's statement in which he mentioned launching the most hard-lined countermeasures against the United States.

[Soundbite] Kim Su-gil(North Korean Workers' Party) : "We will tame America's deranged dotard with fire."

They then shouted slogans to fuel their anti-American sentiments.

[Soundbite] "Let's achieve the final victory by rising up together for a great anti-American showdown."

[Soundbite] "Let's achieve! Achieve! Achieve!"

Then the crowd carrying several propaganda signs continues on with the demonstration. Previously, on the day that Kim Jong-un issued a statement against the U.S., all the high-ranking officials of the Workers' Party Central Committee came out to hold a rally supporting their leader.

[Soundbite] (Korean Central TV (N. Korea)) : "Trump's bizarre words of "total destruction" can only be interpreted as the symbol of America's end."

Kim Jong-un's younger sister, Kim Yo-jong, was seen at the rally as well. Meanwhile, a North Korean propaganda site posted a composite video of American B-1B bombers being shot down and North Korea's submarine-launched ballistic missile striking the U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson. This propaganda footage was aimed at American strategic weapons, which will
be deployed in the Korean Peninsula in case of war. North Korea is projected to continue with such propaganda campaigns for a while and hold anti-American rallies in local communities and workplaces in an effort to strengthen the regime's hold.
