The South Korean delegation of special envoys to North Korea met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un over dinner Monday evening. The North's state media have been covering the South Korean delegation's visit. Here’s more from Pyongyang.

North Korean state media including the Korean Central News Agency and the Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday morning reported about the South Korean delegation's meeting and dinner with Kim Jong-un. The reports included photos as well. The North's state television station reported that the South Korean delegation of special envoys, who arrived in the North on Monday, met with Kim Jong-un. The meeting was also attended by Workers' Party Central Committee Vice Chairman Kim Yong-chol, and Kim Jong-un's sister, Kim Yo-jong. The Korean Central News Agency said thatKim Jong-un shared his opinion on President Moon Jae-in's thoughts regarding an inter-Korean summit, and that the two sides reached a mutually satisfying agreement. The agency added that Kim Jong-un has ordered that working-level officials discuss measures regarding the matter as soon as possible. The agency reported that the South Korean envoys expressed gratitude to the North Korean leader for sending a high-level delegation to the South during the PyeongChang Olympic Games. Kim responded by expressing his gratitude and lauding the PyeongChang Olympics for promoting reconciliation, unity and an atmosphere of dialogue. The North Korean news agency said that the special envoys and Kim Jong-un discussed in-depth how the two sides can ease military tensions on the Korean Peninsula and promote inter-Korean talks and cooperation.
