The Brazilian media has introduced a TV segment introducing Korea to domestic viewers. The Brazilian state broadcaster Televisao said the new segment entitled "Club Korea" will go on the air on February 2. It will be the first endeavor in Brazil to dedicate a whole TV segment to Korea. The 30-minute segment will air on Saturday evenings, and will introduce Korean cuisine, beauty products and K-pop music. The host is Korean-Brazilian Kim Yu-na. In her interview with the local media, Kim Yu-na said she is honored to host a segment on Korea on a TV channel that is broadcast all over Brazil. She also pledged to contribute to publicizing tourism in Korea by introducing its various regions. A town in southern port city Busan where the hit Korean drama "Fight for My Way" was filmed is turning into a tourist hotspot. The city of Busan recently announced that construction work will be concluded soon and an opening ceremony will be held to unveil the newly renovated Hocheon village. The KBS TV series "Fight for My Way" was a big hit not only at home but also abroad when it aired in 2017. Hocheon village where the story was set and filmed shot up in popularity as a travel destination especially for the young crowd in their 20s and 30s. With the aim to transform the area into a Hallyu tourist attraction, the Busan Metropolitan City has been reconstructing the film set and developing related tour products. The film set will include various features of the drama avid viewers may remember such as "Namil bar" which served as a hanging out place for the characters in "Fight for My Way." There will also be photo zones for visitors to take memorable pictures.
