As of Monday morning, North Korea still did not react to the victory of Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the U.S. presidential election. The ruling party mouthpiece the Rodong Sinmun instead stressed internal unity and the importance of rice production, saying agriculture is at the forefront of defending the revolution. Regarding the U.S. presidential elections, Pyongyang gave the quickest reaction when Barack Obama won the 2008 race. It came just two days after the election result was confirmed.
