Danish prosecutors have posted a message on Twitter saying that the decision to repatriate Chung Yoo-ra has been finalized. This means that Chung has withdrawn her plan to appeal the repatriation decision in a higher court. However, according to prosecutors, the date of her repatriation has yet to be set. But sources say the Danish prosecutors have agreed with Korean judicial authorities to repatriate Chung within 30 days. The final decision to send Chung back to Korea comes 144 days after her arrest in Aalborg, Denmark back in January. Chung rejected the Danish prosecutors' decision reached on March 17th to repatriate her to Korea, and filed a suit to the District Court of Aalborg. However, the court of first instance ruled that she must be repatriated to Korea. Chung immediately appealed to a higher court and was awaiting a verdict due on June 8. Once Chung is repatriated to Korea, she will be handed over to prosecutors immediately to undergo an investigation into allegations regarding her illegal enrollment in Ewha Womans' University and involvement in Samsung Electronics' bribery allegations.
