The Korean Olympic archery team reaped in four out of South Korea’s six gold medals at the Rio Olympics so far. With their medals in tow, the team has returned home in glory.

Fans cheer as the heroes of the Rio Olympics appear at the airport one after another. The archers smile brightly as they return home after setting a record of winning all four gold medals in the archery event at the Rio Games.

[Soundbite] Ki Bo-bae(Team gold, Individual Bronze Medalist) : "I felt like all the hard times just melted away. I'm craving food cooked by my mom."

Reporters also surrounded the families of the athletes.

[Soundbite] Chang Hye-ji(Sister of Chang Hye-jin) : "She waited so long to win a medal. She said she wanted to enjoy herself from now on. I hope she can really enjoy the moment."

Amid steep global competition, the Korean archers again proved they are the best in the world and are already looking ahead to the next Olympics in four years.

[Soundbite] Moon Hyung-chul(Coach, Korean Nat’l Archery Team) : "Korean archery will prepare again for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics."

The atmosphere at Incheon International Airport was hotter than ever as fans gathered to welcome back the victorious archers who rewrote Olympic history.
