This security-boosted convenience store has emerged, as the number of convenience stores has increased and their employees are more frequently exposed to danger. More than 300 violent crimes take place at convenience stores a year, as shown in the case of a convenience store employee who was killed by a drunken customer in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province late last year.
